WHAT DOES AN EMPTY CHAIR SYMBOLIZE?
The holidays are a time for celebration with family and friends. It is also a time to remember those who are no longer with us. Many families with missing loved ones or families with loved ones of unresolved cases will be celebrating holidays with an empty chair. The empty chair symbolizes loss or the hope of a return. Oftentimes it is hope alone that keeps these families moving forward to find their missing loved ones or to find justice in their cases. Please take a moment to think about those who are struggling with an empty chair this holiday season.
